Doddington in Bloom exists to encourage community participation and to improve the appearance of the village.  It is run by the village for the village and everyone who lives here can be part of the project.

The volunteer committee, who are all residents, decide and agree on projects to tidy up negelected areas and to develop and maintain new planting areas.  We also hold an annual front garden competition named in honour of the late Parish Councillor, Ian Woodhouse.  The competition recognises and rewards local residents whose gardens do so much to enhance the appearance of the village.

Doddington in Bloom is a dynamic group which we hope reflects the aspirations of residents in the way that our village develops and it acts as a catalyst for improvement and enhancement.
